Call for Books!

Join Athens Area Habitat as we make a final push next week to collect childrens' books for kids who might otherwise not have their own books at home. Books for Keeps (http://booksforkeeps.blogspot.com/) has collected books all month at various locations around Athens, including at our ReStore. The book bin is right inside the store and will be there until October 31st. They are in need of books for kids in kindergarten - 12th grade. A suggested list is on their website. Please join us in collecting new and/or gently used books for Athens area kids. For more information, contact our Public Outreach Director at pr@athenshabitat.com.

Call for Volunteers

The Jittery Joe's Fall Classic Century is less than 2 weeks away and we still need volunteers to make this the best ride yet! Volunteers will register riders, staff activity stations at the Fall Festival, or provide ride support at SAG stops. Contact our Public Outreach Director at pr@athenshabitat.com for more information or to volunteer.
