BUILDING ON A DREAM

The dream comes true for Ms. Susie Thomas Friday,

November 2nd at 4:00 PM.

Please join us in recognizing Ms. Susie Thomas and her family as she becomes the proud owner of a Habitat for Humanity home.



The event, which is open to the public, will take place at 170 New Hope Drive located in Dorsey Village off of Hawthorne Extension.

The home is the completion of the Building on a Dream project, an effort to bring together community members from all walks of life to help a family achieve the American dream of home ownership.



Volunteers multi-task on Saturday

Volunteers from Gainesville State came out this weekend to help Habitat with three different build sites. Thank you to all who came out and made a difference.



Also, a special thanks to Domino's for dontaing lunch to the volunteers! They greatly appreciate your contribution to their hard work!

UGA Habitat lends a hand...again

Students from UGA Engineering (and their professor!) volunteered this weekend to work their magic on the the home of Ms. Susie Thomas. Thank you to the big group who came out and donated their time to make a difference!

UGA Habitat Helps Out Again





Members of the UGA Habitat for Humanity organization gathered on Saturday to dedicate their morning to Ms. Wanda Maddox's home. Thank you to all the volunteers who came out despite the cloudy skies!

Rotary Club and Golden Key Society team up to help community


Members of the UGA Rotary Club and Golden Key Society spent this past Saturday helping Habitat construct the home for Ms. Wanda Maddox. The two organizations have collaborated for the past few months to make this build possible and Athens Habitat would like to thank them for their dedication, showing that even on game days, UGA students can still work for others.
