20th Anniversary Kickoff a great success!

We had a great event last night! Thank you to all who came out to the Georgian to celebrate the beginning of Athens Habitat's twentieth year and to all of those that helped to make this event a success.

Members of UGA Habitat and friends of Reginald Willis worked hard this Saturday at 200 Old Monroe. The weather was great and the large group worked hard on a variety of projects to get the home looking great. What a wonderful Saturday!

A special thank you to Reginald for providing a great southern lunch for the volunteers!

Happy New Year!

2008 will be an exciting year for Athens Habitat as we celebrate our 20th Anniversary! In recognition of this memorable time, we have set a goal to build ten homes this year.

As we begin this new year, we encourage the community to get involved with Habitat.

As a non-profit organization, Athens Area Habitat for Humanity depends on volunteers in the Athens area for support. Volunteers are the backbone of Habitat and everyone has something to offer. Without the generous contributions of so many individuals and organizations, the service we provide to Athens families would not be possible.

Every volunteer and every hour donated makes a difference. Helping build new homes, joining a committee, lending a hand at a special event, or supporting the ReStore are just a few of the ways you can help Habitat achieve our mission of eliminating poverty housing in the Athens Area.

Find a way to make a difference in your community this year.
