Dovetail home begins!

Volunteers from the Dovetail Companies and a few individuals, began work this Saturday on Ms. Nicole Smith's home. They worked on the floor of the house and got done just before the rain came in. A special thanks to Subway in Five Points for donating lunch! The volunteers greatly appriciate your support of their efforts.

Dovetail Companies Break Ground on Habitat House!

The Dovetail Companies held a groundbreaking ceremony for a new Habitat for Humanity home on Friday, April 25^th. The new home will be built at 110 Red Fern Circle, in the Stonehenge Subdivision in Bogart, Georgia. The Dovetail Companies are joined by Trinity Accounting Group and Connected Technologies in this effort. The employees of both companies, along with friends, and family members, will be donating their time and talent to the construction of this home over 16 consecutive Saturdays.

Another Rainy Saturday...

Volunteers from Russell Hall and the UGA Alumni Association helped this Saturday doing some yard work before the rain set in. Thanks for those of you who came out!

A group of hardworking individuals came out this Saturday to donate their efforts to Reggie's house. The group finished the railing on the front, put up the metal facial on the side porch, worked on the storage shed and painted the foundation of the house. Thank you to all who came out and gave Habitat their Saturday morning!

Silver & Archibald Run/Walk for Home

Despite the rainy weather, the Run/Walk this Saturday was a huge success! Thank you to all who came out and participated as well as a special thank you to all of the sponsors who made the race possible.

Join Homer This Saturday At The Run/Walk For Home

Homer was out on the town today letting people know about the Run/Walk for Home this Saturday, April 5th.

Come join Athens Area Habitat for Humanity and Athens Area Homeless Shelter! The race starts at 8:00am and packet pick up begins at 6:30am, rain or shine. Race day registration is $20 and all runners will receive a race bag and tshirt.
