A group of hardworking individuals came out this Saturday to donate their efforts to Reggie's house. The group finished the railing on the front, put up the metal facial on the side porch, worked on the storage shed and painted the foundation of the house. Thank you to all who came out and gave Habitat their Saturday morning!

Silver & Archibald Run/Walk for Home
Despite the rainy weather, the Run/Walk this Saturday was a huge success! Thank you to all who came out and participated as well as a special thank you to all of the sponsors who made the race possible.

Join Homer This Saturday At The Run/Walk For Home
Homer was out on the town today letting people know about the Run/Walk for Home this Saturday, April 5th.
Come join Athens Area Habitat for Humanity and Athens Area Homeless Shelter! The race starts at 8:00am and packet pick up begins at 6:30am, rain or shine. Race day registration is $20 and all runners will receive a race bag and tshirt.

This Saturday: Silver & Archibald Run/Walk for Home 5K
Saturday, April 5th
Come join the Athens Area Habitat for Humanity and the Athens Area Homeless Shelter for the 17th Annual Run/Walk for Home 5K. The race will start at the Classic Center in downtown Athens, run through the downtown area, the North Oconee Greenway, and finish behind the Classic Center on Foundry Street.
The race will start at 8:00AM, rain or shine.

Athens Area Habitat for Humanity and Athens Area Homeless Shelter present the 17th annual Run/Walk for Home 5K on April 5, 2008. The Run/Walk for Home 5k raises money each year to assist in funding Athens area initiatives for the less fortunate. Join us in celebrating our mission to invest in our community!
The first 500 registered are guaranteed a t-shirt and race bag.
Registration is $15 per person if postmarked by March 31, 2008. The family rate is $45 (pre-registration only). Late registration and race day registration is $20. Remember, you can be a phantom runner for $20 (get a tshirt but not participate in Run/Walk). Register online here or pick up a flyer at Athens Area Habitat or Athens Homeless Shelter.
